The Law Enforcement Division (Police) of the Fort Monmouth Directorate of Emergency Services provides 24 hour, 7 day a week law enforcement services to the U.S. Army Garrison - Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

This service is provided by federal civilian police officers through proactive police patrols, criminal investigations, traffic control, parking enforcement and community policing.

The Fort Monmouth Police enforces all laws and regulations to include United States Code (USC), Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), New Jersey Criminal Laws (Title 2C); New Jersey Traffic Law (Title 39), and general Fort Monmouth rules and regulations.

Fort Monmouth is located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.  It encompasses 1,126 acres and is surrounded by the towns of Eatontown, Tinton Falls, Shrewsbury, Oceanport and Little Silver.

Fort Monmouth supported community totals over 40,000 and is comprised of active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Reserve Components, retired military, Department of Defense civilians, contractors, and family members.  This number includes over 8,000 employees & contractors, and 2,000 military and family members assigned to post.  Additonally, more than 23,000 off post military, reservists, veterans and a large population of retirees also draw support from Fort Monmouth.
